Maha town

Mahe Township is mainly famous for its excellent sunrise scenery. This area has a wide field of vision and almost no obstructions, which is widely sought after by photographers. Many sunrise movies in Qinghai Lake also come from here.

Tips: Generally, if you want to watch the sunrise in Qinghai Lake, you will choose to live in Heimahe Township, where the infrastructure is relatively complete and there are many restaurants to choose from.

Kaka salt lake

Known as "the country of the sky", Chaka Salt Lake was named as one of the "55 places people must visit in their lives" by National Tourism Geography.

Day 1: Jiangxi Valley, Dongyangchang, Jinsha Bay, Xihai Town, Qinghai Lake Fishing Ground 15 1 base.

The journey is about 100 km, and it takes about 6 hours to ride. The road conditions are mostly hilly and slightly difficult.

Tips: National Highway 2 18 is the traffic artery in Qinghai, and there are many trucks coming in and out. It is forbidden to ride close to the roadside.

The next day: Bamboo Knife Bird Island, Heima River, Jiangxi River Valley.

The journey is about 95 kilometers, with gentle and low fluctuation. Today, we will experience the most beautiful part of the West Lake.

Cars are more troublesome, and there are special tourist lines departing from Xining in the peak season of Bird Island and Erlangjian. However, direct communication between scenic spots is troublesome, and there are few or no buses a day.

There are many places to stay around Qinghai Lake, such as Xihai Town, Erlangjian, Bird Island, Heimahe Township and Huanhu West Road.

The first recommended place is Heimahe Township. Mahe Township has relatively complete infrastructure, many dining options, and is not far from the place where the sun rises.

The second recommended place is Huanhu West Road. Many hotels around Xihu Road are close to the lake. You can watch the sunrise in the hotel or take a walk by the lake at night. However, it should be noted that there are few dining options here, and they are basically solved in hotels.

Tips: Hotels around Qinghai Lake are expensive in peak season, but the conditions are average. Don't expect too much. In addition, the hot water supply in some hotels is not very good, so remember to choose 24-hour hot water supply when choosing.
