Interpretation of Bi Feiyu's novel The Lactating Woman: The brilliance of motherhood is the best in the world.

Bi Feiyu can be said to be the best one among contemporary male writers to write about women. No matter the image of urban women in Tsing Yi is small, or the image of rural women in Corn, three sisters, namely, Corn, Yuyang, have left a deep impression on readers. Bi Feiyu's description of women's psychology is particularly delicate and accurate, and there is no obvious male vision. He is called "the best male writer to write about women's psychology".

The Breast-feeding Woman is one of his short stories, and won the short story award of the first Lu Xun Literature Award, which can be said to be his famous work. In this novel, Bi Feiyu portrays a sad and lonely left-behind child Wangwang and a young woman Huisao who shines with maternal brilliance.

The story happened in a southern town called Broken Bridge. The young people in the town have basically gone out to work, and Broken Bridge Town is just the address on the money order for them. Wangwang, a seven-year-old boy, has lived with his grandfather since he was a child. He can only meet his parents during the Spring Festival. Wangwang is not his real name, because he always sits on the threshold and eats Wangwang cookies, so everyone calls him Wangwang.

This biscuit is specially taken care of by his father. Every time, he writes "a bag of Wangwang every day" next to the money order. This shows that Want Want's material life is quite good. However, Wangwang has never eaten breast milk since he was a child, so whenever he sees Huisao across the street breastfeeding his children, he is very curious and yearning.

When Bi Feiyu describes Hui Sao, people feel the warmth of a mother. Mrs. Hui is "short and fat, thick and slippery", and she is also very kind and affable when she smiles at people. She runs a canteen and has been sitting at the door feeding the children, and she is not shy about anything. Wangwang sat across the hall and saw the blue blood vessels on Huisao's breast that day, imagining that the milk was also sky blue, "warm and cool". This is full of hope and sadness for a child who has never eaten breast milk.

The story has a turning point and the first climax. Wangwang took advantage of Huisao's inattention and suddenly bit her breast. Want Want has never eaten breast milk, and doesn't know how to eat it, so she bites hard. Huisao let out a long whistle, and everyone in the town knew. Everyone began to talk, saying that Want Want was a rogue. Someone joked in front of Huisao: "Huisao, everyone is' prosperous'." Huisao laughed with them and was not angry.

Want Want's grandfather found out and beat him up. Wangwang is ill in hospital. Huisao also asked Grandpa Wangwang why he hadn't seen Wangwang for many days, and explained to him, "If it doesn't hurt, I'll break a little, and it'll be fine." After leaving the hospital, Want Want never dared to sit on the threshold again, but Huisao knew that Want Want always peeked from the door. Two people keep this silent secret. Huisao went to Wangwang and was stopped by Grandpa.

The second climax of the story appeared. Want Want peeked under the door while Grandpa was taking a nap, and was caught by Sister Hui. Huisao pulled him to her backyard, lifted her coat and let Want Want breast-feed. But Wangwang doesn't eat. He cried and said it wasn't my mother's, and then he ran back. Sister-in-law Hui chased him, patted the door and called him, crying. Grandpa thought it was Wangwang's fault, so he hit Wangwang without saying anything. Sister-in-law Hui cried sadly outside.

In the silent noon, these voices spread all over the silent town, and people gathered around and began to be cynical again. At the end of the novel, it says-Huisao turns around. Her tears glowed green, like a mother beast. It's kind of amazing. Huisao shouted fiercely, "Go! Let's go What do you know? "

The story came to an abrupt end in the climax, just right, leaving us endless thinking. After reading the novel Lactating Women, we can't help asking ourselves: "What do we know?" The title of Bi Feiyu's novels seems to cater to readers' curiosity, but if we want to go elsewhere, what's the difference with the people in Broken Bridge? Therefore, the last sentence is also for us. This is the genius of Bi Feiyu! "Breastfeeding" is the instinctive behavior of all mothers in the world out of love, and Huisao's care for Wangwang has broken through the limitations of family, so it has great maternal glory!
