Meng Si: "The color is like lotus, and it is as bright as the sky."

Meng Si, embedded in the northern foot of Xuefeng Mountain, is a beautifully carved natural picture scroll. Xupu Meng Si National Wetland Park is praised as "beautiful scenery with clear water" in the large-scale documentary column of human geography "Hunan Seen by the World".

The word "Danxia" comes from Cao Pi's Poems on the Lotus Pond: "Danxia gathers the bright moon, and Huaxing comes out of the clouds". Later, geologists described Danxia landform as "the color is like lotus and the color is like the sky", so the geographical term "Danxia landform" came into being.

Meng Si is a typical Danxia landform. Danxia Mountain is not high above sea level and is constantly covered with layers of "green clothes". There are all kinds of peaks: Sleeping Beauty, Sister Stone, Wang Fu Cliff, Breast Peak ... Each peak is like telling a wonderful story. The most wonderful thing is that when the smoke cage is green, the peaks follow the clouds and smoke, turning into various postures, suddenly far away and suddenly close, just like a fairyland.

A river flows around the mountains like green jade liquid. On both sides of the river, trees are dancing and bamboo is sandwiched between the two sides. In this scene, "Jian Peijun Cang, the Millennium is frost. The so-called Iraqis are on the water side. " You think of poetry. Between water and water, a feeling arises spontaneously, hoping to have a touching encounter.

"One water floats blue, and a thousand peaks compete." You only care about appreciation, but you forget the vicissitudes of Jurassic in hundreds of millions of years.

Boating on the river, the cruise ship is rippling in the blue waves of Danxia, and the wind is full of love and water. The five buddhas sat quietly, watching the mountains, the water and everything. On a rocky mountain on the other side of Wufoshan, it is said that Tie Guai Li went to Dong Tian, Taoyuan, and when he saw the drowning man blocked by the rocky mountain, he swung his iron fork and vowed to split the rocky mountain in half. And Danxia Mountain, after hundreds of millions of years of evolution, is not cracked by iron, but by cracks, so it is called Broken Stone Mountain. When I entered the cave of Taoyuan, I was suddenly enlightened. The land is flat and spacious, with fertile fields and mulberry trees. I suspect that Tao Yuanming wrote "The Peach Blossom Garden" only after he had been here.

If you want to overlook the panoramic view of Meng Si, you can go to Taiji Mountain in Xinzhuanglong Village, where the natural landscape is beautiful and there is a thousand-year-old temple on the top of it, which is the creative base of Xupu Photographers Association. Standing on the top of the mountain, mountains and rivers, flowers and trees are unobstructed, and a beautiful ecological picture is beautifully stretched out. Because of its unique features, Changsha Wenhai Film and Television Company and Hunan Satellite TV jointly produced "Lingxiu Taiji Mountain". Once the video was broadcast, it swept the whole network and attracted tourists from all directions.

It is said that when Xu Xiake arrived in Chenzhou and flew to Tianshan Mountain, he praised "every inch of land is beautiful and every mountain is strange" and engraved "every inch of land is beautiful". If he comes to Simone and sees the scenery here, he will be happier.

Many people compare Meng Si's landscape to "Small Guilin" and "Xiao Lang", but I don't think so. Meng Si, Meng Si, has a unique charm, and is the "poem and distance" you miss.

Poetic and picturesque, more than two thousand years ago, the patriotic poet Qu Yuan was exiled here. Inspired by the beautiful mountains and waters, he wrote famous poems, such as Crossing the River, Asking for Heaven, Shan Gui and Ode to an Orange. "When I entered Xupu, I couldn't go, but I didn't know what I was doing." This is how he felt when he first entered Meng Si. Ying Du's sword and sword reflected his two lines of clear tears, and finally turned into the waves of the Miluo River. In memory of Qu Yuan, Meng Si left Quzi Gorge, San Lv Beach and Lisao Bay and other places of interest. In 2007, Huang Zhenyun, a professor at China University of Political Science and Law and secretary-general of Qu Yuan Society of China, enjoyed the elegance of Qu Zi Gorge and wrote "The Hometown of Qu Zi, the Source of Chu Ci" with a touch of poetry.

Influenced by Qu Yuan's culture, there are many talented people in Meng Si. The Silk Road Jinqiao created by Shu Yong has become the top cultural symbol of the Belt and Road Initiative. Wang Zhenghua set out from Meng Si, arrived in Beijing, arrived in Nepal and India, and worked hard all the way to become the top home e-commerce company in Southeast Asia.

Close to the wind bridge are hiking routes and botanical gardens. It is understood that the plant resources here are quite rich and unique, including seed plants 145 families. Experts from Central South University of Forestry and Technology found "Evening primrose" in Meng Si National Wetland Park. Professor Xu Yongfu, an expert in botany at the school, said that this plant originated in North America and Europe, was cultivated in Fujian, China and scattered into the wild, and was first discovered in Hunan.

The "Xiaoxiang Village" bath can accommodate hundreds of people at a time. Drifting in the Dragonfly Canyon in Simao makes your heart beat faster. The most unforgettable thing is to drift on a bamboo raft in the poetic Kongjiawan, and swim slowly on the bamboo raft to see the beautiful scenery of "dancing out of the shadows, how it seems to be on earth"; Feel the charm of "work at sunrise and rest at sunset".

There are also legends such as Lv Dongbin Bamboo, Rhinoceros Drilling Cave, Meituo Mountain, Daoba Village, Shi 'antang, Nvluoshan, Wang Fu Cliff, Qu Yuan and Shan Gui, and the beautiful legends add infinite mystery and interest.

For Meng Si, Danxia has a special charm. From natural landscape to human landscape, Meng Si shows its characteristics everywhere, so it was awarded "Huxiang Style Cultural Tourism Town"; One of the "Eight Scenes of New Xiaoxiang"; National Wetland Park; Suoyixi Village, a boutique tourist route town in Hunan Province, was also rated as the fifth batch of traditional villages in China.

At present, Meng Si is making every effort to build a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a demonstration area for rural revitalization of Xuefeng Mountain cultural tourism. On June 20th, 2022, at 65438, Zheng Xiang, secretary of the county party committee, presided over the work dispatch meeting of Meng Si Scenic Area to create a national 4A-level tourist attraction. At the meeting, Zheng Xiang stressed that it must be successfully established this year.

Nowadays, the tourist highway from Tongxihe to Meng Si, the second-class highway from Jiangqiao to Meng Si, and the Lishui waterway from County to Meng Si are in full swing, and it is just around the corner to change "brigade" into "brigade".
