Introduction to Liu Chongde
Liu Chongde (1938~) went by the pen name Youtong. A native of Shunyi, Beijing. He graduated from the Beijing School of Arts and Crafts in 1962, and later graduated from the Calligraphy Department of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University and the Advertising Photography Department of the First Branch of Renmin University of China. He is a senior arts and crafts artist at Shunyi County Cultural Center in Beijing, a member of Beijing Calligraphers Association, secretary-general of Shunyi District Calligraphers Association, and a member of Beijing Qingyun Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Association.
