Wife and daughter.
The custom of Liaopu women (Xunpu women), together with Hui 'an women and Meizhou women, is known as the three major fishermen's women in Fujian, which is a major folk spectacle along the coast of southern Fujian. Liaopu women are a group of women who have worked hard for generations in Liaopu village. They wear flowers in their heads, lavender earrings, big ruffles and wide-leg pants, forming a unique style. Beipu people depend on the sea for a living, mainly fishing. Mazu, the most popular god among the people, went overseas and became an international "goddess of navigation".
Beipu women are hardworking and ingenious, and many strange customs of Beipu women should be explored. Liaopu is rich in human resources, which is worth digging, sorting out and studying. It was the ancestors of Quanzhou who were as diligent as the women in Beipu that invented the smart shell and passed it down to this day.
