What is the difference between a sea surveillance or fishery administration ship and a warship?

The sea surveillance ship is equipped with 6 ships with 3,000 tons, 3 ships with 1500 tons and 1000 tons. The maritime surveillance ship belongs to light weapons and equipment at sea, and is mainly engaged in maritime law enforcement.

Fishery vessels are divided into three categories: large-scale vessels with gross tonnage exceeding 1000 tons, medium-sized vessels with hundreds of tons, and small-scale vessels with only a few tons to dozens of tons. Fishery boats are mainly equipped with long-distance photography, video recording and recording equipment, as well as special instruments, equipment and tools for measuring water quality, checking fishing gear and recording the accurate position and trajectory of illegal fishing boats. The main purpose of fishery boats is to crack down on illegal fishermen from overseas fishing in China and collect evidence from illegal fishermen through video.

Warships and ships belong to combat ships: they are equipped with weapons such as missiles, artillery, torpedoes, mines and anti-submarine weapons, and some are also equipped with combat aircraft and helicopters. The purpose of warships is to attack foreign enemies and safeguard China's maritime sovereignty.

Both sea surveillance vessels and fishery administration vessels maintain China's territorial waters through political and legal means. One is law enforcement, and the other is to crack down on illegal fishermen. Because of the need for law enforcement affinity, it is not equipped with high combat equipment.

The biggest difference between warships and them is that warships are heavy combat ships, because they have to safeguard the sovereignty of the country's territorial waters and are equipped with heavy weapons.
