Production technology of warp knitted adhesive lining

Compared with woven interlining, warp-knitted interlining, especially cotton and polyester-cotton shirt interlining, has shorter technological process, and the general production process is: warp-knitted grey fabric-shrinking (or napping)-dyeing-stentering-coating-inspection and packaging. The product width is generally divided into 90cm, 122cm and 150cm, and the colors are mostly natural, bleached, black and gray, and the color of women's lining varies a lot.

With polyester filament as warp (single comb), it has no weft insertion, high weft elasticity and thin fabric surface. It is mainly used for fabrics with large elasticity in warp and weft directions, such as Dupont Lycra, clothing parts with large movement range and clothing with low requirements for adhesive strength of adhesive lining. It is mostly coated by micro-powder point method, and the coating amount is relatively small.

One is stacked weft insertion, which is made of viscose yarn. After stacking, the base fabric feels soft and plump. Powder coating is not popular because of its poor elasticity, easy foaming, difficult control of thermal shrinkage and shrinkage, and poor adaptability of fabric. However, some stacked double-comb weft linings with soft hand feel are changed to double-point coating, which overcomes the shortcomings of powder-point coating and expands the adaptability to fabrics, and is still widely used in many medium and thick coats and uniforms. The other is polyester low-elastic silk weft-inserted lining, which is usually woven by single comb, but the weaving process of double comb and multi-comb is more complicated and the variety is still less. Low elastic silk weft lining is the mainstream warp knitting adhesive lining at present, which is widely used. Powder spot coating process is simple, low cost, but poor elastic feel; Slurry coating is mainly used for women's clothing with light texture and soft hand feeling, as well as small parts of clothing lining and clothing with low adhesion requirements; Two-point coating has better effect and wider application range. With thermosetting polyurethane (PUR) as the base slurry and polyamide (PA) as the surface, it has good hand feeling, strong adhesion, dry cleaning and washing resistance, no glue leakage, and relatively high coating cost, which is suitable for middle and high-grade varieties.

Characteristics of warp-knitted adhesive lining

The warp knitted fabric used for processing interlining is simple in structure, and its structure is mostly formed by interweaving warp and weft in weft direction. The crochet structure makes it light, soft and elastic, especially when it is used as clothing material, it has the characteristics of comfortable wearing, good air permeability, randomness and shape retention.

Generally, warp-knitted fabrics do not need desizing, weight reduction or resin finishing, which has the advantages of short process, low cost, no formaldehyde, little pollution in the processing process and environmental protection, and can be discharged only by treating the sewage generated during the dyeing of interlining, so warp-knitted lining can be called environmental protection interlining.

The warp-knitted fabric used for warp-knitted adhesive lining is generally polyester filament or viscose yarn, and the weft yarn is polyester low-elastic filament or viscose yarn, which is straight in the warp direction, good in drape, good in weft elasticity, soft to the touch and strong in randomness, and is suitable for elastic fabrics.

The excellent characteristics of warp-knitted fabrics make the adhesive lining processed by warp-knitted fabrics have various styles, which can meet the needs of fabrics with different textures and styles from light to heavy, fully adapt to the various requirements of various fabrics and clothing for adhesive lining, and are widely used.
