When we talk about contrast and conflict, we actually refer to two situations. It's easy to find contrast, just look for various antonyms in the photos. The formal antonyms are light and dark, cold and warm, size, movement, black and white, soft and hard, clear and fuzzy, how much, Fiona Fang and so on. And there are many antonyms or contrast words in connotation, ancient and modern, artificial and natural, confused and hopeful.

The next photos are mainly the contrast between cool colors and warm colors. The foreground is yellow and the background is blue. The two contrasting colors can easily widen the distance between the foreground and the background and increase the layering of the picture.

3. Refine the contrast in life

Life is full of contrasts, and one of the purposes of our previous composition is to extract these interesting contrasts. In the later stage, it is necessary to further strengthen and express the conflicts in the picture by deepening and lightening, adjusting colors and other means.

For example, in the following photo, if the composition is like this, the contrast conflict in the picture is not obvious enough.

So I use telephoto segment to focus the picture on the ship and volcano, and use the small size of the ship to highlight the height of the background volcano. At the same time, the details of darkening the mountain forest in the later period only highlight the brightness of snow and clouds on the boat and at the top of the mountain, and highlight the main body with the contrast of light and shade.

The next photo is two spiders on the petals I took. If the composition is like this, there will be some conflicts in the picture and it will be relatively dull.

And I finally photographed two spiders at the same height with diagonal composition. The spider on it, bared its teeth, seemed ready to attack.
