The so-called three-point food photography of 0, 45 and 90 is actually a photography technique summarized from three commonly used food shooting angles, where 0 refers to low angle, 45 refers to oblique angle and 90 refers to vertical angle.
In fact, there is a corresponding relationship between the three and the depth of field, namely 0 shallow depth of field, 45 shallow depth of field and 90 deep depth of field.
Because many people don't shoot themselves there with SLR when eating, I try to answer this question from the perspective of mobile phone and card machine.
One: 0 photography.
0 photography this angle is most suitable for projecting a single object, such as a small cherry on a cake.

If it's 90 beats, well, you can try it (the picture below uses oblique composition, which sometimes works wonders, but it will give people a sense of insecurity. Two: 45 photography.
This is the most commonly used and classic shooting angle.
45' s sense of space (depth of field) is 0, it has a sense of hierarchy, and the sense of wholeness and overall situation is 90, which is a very good way to shoot food.
Under the golden angle of 45, its composition method is also the most. Let me introduce some classics:
1: Simple composition:
This effect is very good and shooting is extremely simple.
Point: Spread a white cloth near the window. Why face the window? Because the light changes gradually when you are near the window, it is not too difficult to make the food lack texture.
Putting what you want to shoot on a white cloth can increase the exposure appropriately. With the method of blank space, it is easy to highlight the main body, which looks fresh and elegant and everyone likes it.
Of course, it is not necessarily white cloth. Stripes and colors are also good, but they must be clean and the background cannot be usurped by others. Under this composition, the only thing that attracts people's visual focus is food.
2. Rhythm composition.
In fact, writers have also used this method. The so-called rhythmic composition is to make the food show a certain regularity and spaciousness, and let people feel the beauty of rhythm.
: oblique composition.
The so-called oblique composition, the most classic is chopsticks, and of course there are straws and so on. It enters from outside the picture through chopsticks and other objects, and has the functions of breaking the picture, activating the picture and bringing it into the picture.
: Seek common ground while reserving differences, highlight the main body, and the picture is vivid.
Three: 90 photography.
I think this composition is the most difficult, and it is not easy to grasp the picture. It is easy to lose the sense of hierarchy at 90 degrees, and it is more difficult to combine and shoot well when there are many kinds of food.
In the case of a single object, it is actually very easy to shoot. Refer to the previous simple composition and copy it basically.
As for when there is a lot of food, if you want to take a good-looking photo, you need a special shape, otherwise it may be ugly, but if it is not a special food photography, you shouldn't set up food specially when you eat, right? So I won't go into details.
Finally, say some tips:
1: steaming food often makes people more appetizing (don't mention ice cream to me, asshole), so, you know.
2: Use less flash, it's too hard.
3: shoot by the window, ok.
4. Choose good cold and warm colors, with warm colors corresponding to hot food and cold colors corresponding to cold food.
5: Just use white paper as reflective material to fill the light. White paper is everywhere, right?
