What's the difference between 3DMAX modeling and rhinoceros modeling?

Difference 1:

3dmax? Use:

3dmax mainly focuses on animation and layout design, and generally studies multimedia and design majors, such as game character design, decoration space design and so on. Max is polygon modeling. Polygon, that is, polygon modeling, uses small quadrilateral patches to approximate the real smooth surface.

Difference 2:

Use of rhinoceros model:

Rhinoceros, commonly known as rhinoceros, can make molds, make two-dimensional and three-dimensional models, and generate simulated animation. It is mainly used in manufacturing. Rhino is nurbs modeling. The meaning of nurbs is uniform and unreasonable B spline. Every point of the surface constructed by NURBS is calculated by equation, and the constructed surface can be absolutely smooth on the model.

Nurbs is closer to the smooth surface in reality and can control the quality and shape of the surface very accurately, so it is often used to build the final model of industrial design. It is impossible to accurately describe the surface by polygon modeling.

Difference 3:

Parameters:

Rhino has no parameterized function, so you can install grasshopper plug-in to realize parameterized modeling. Parameterization means that an object records multiple parameters of itself. When modification is needed, the model itself does not need to be adjusted, only the parameters need to be adjusted.

For example, in a parametric drive system, such as pro|e, build a cube, and its length, width and height are all 1. Now I want to change its height to 2. The nonparametric drive system will scale the cube on the Z axis, while the parametric drive system only needs to adjust the height parameter to 2.
