According to reports, as early as last August, there was a post on the Internet that sent Mr. Lin and businessman Liang to prison, which was circulated in Gaoming District, causing a storm in the city.

At the beginning of August, 2009, some netizens posted on Tianya Community and other websites that on June 25th, 2008, Ma, secretary of Gaoming District Committee of Foshan City, was stolen from his dormitory in the street road of Gaoming Lianhua Town. The stolen items include "a Hasselblad camera with a value of more than 700,000 yuan and an HP laptop with a value of about 1.2 million yuan, totaling more than 5 million yuan."

The post quickly attracted attention in Tianya community and was deleted a few days later. At the same time, the content of the net post was quickly clarified by the official.
