Hanyang Arsenal was founded by Zhang Zhidong.

Zhang Zhidong (1837- 1909), filial piety, Xiang Tao, and Xiang Yan became the ice-holding old man in his later years. Zhang Zhidong's former residence is located in the north of Baimixie Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. The city gate is in Xie Jie, and there are zhaobi, Shangmashi and splayed gate walls outside.
