Google Pixel 7 DXO image score of 140 points: narrowly beat Xiaomi 12S Ultra

A few days ago, DXOMARK announced the overall image score of Google Pixel 7. It ranked first among high-end models and 10th globally with 140 points, narrowly beating Xiaomi 12S Ultra (136 points).

DXOMARK stated that thanks to the excellent combination of hardware and software tuning, the image performance of Google Pixel 7 even exceeds that of some flagship products.

According to reports, in still images, Pixel 7 shows beautiful skin tones and natural white balance in most test conditions. The target exposure is accurate, the dynamic range is wide, the contrast is good, and the performance is surprising for portrait photography.

At the same time, the machine’s autofocus is fast and accurate, the test images show a high level of detail, and artifacts are also well controlled. When shooting video, the Pixel 7 demonstrated good exposure and wide dynamic range. Autofocus responds quickly and keeps moving subjects in focus.

DXOMARK believes that due to the lack of a dedicated telephoto lens and ultra-wide-angle camera, the Pixel 7 has a narrower field of view and limited zoom performance compared to the Pro version. In HDR and low-light scenes, there will be shadow areas in the picture. Some noticeable noise.

In terms of parameters, Pixel 7 uses a 6.3-inch OLED screen, supports 90Hz high refresh rate, has a resolution of FHD+, is equipped with a Google Tensor G2 chip, has a front-facing 10.8-megapixel camera, a rear-facing 50-megapixel main camera, and a 12-megapixel super camera. Wide angle, built-in 4355mAh battery, Android 13 pre-installed.
