Why is my close-up photo distorted?
The shooting distance of portrait photography refers to the distance between the camera and the subject, which is related to the transparency of the image. Usually the shooting distance should not be too close. Otherwise, it is easy to produce bad perspective deformation. For example, close-up frontal head portraits often have grotesque imaging effects with big nose and small ears.
The shooting distance of the head or bust can be controlled at about 2-3 meters, and it should not be close to 1.5 meters. The shooting distance of the full-length portrait can be controlled between 4 and 8 meters. The shooting distance of group photos can be flexibly grasped according to the number of people and the length of formation arrangement.
There are several points to pay attention to when shooting portraits at close range in macro mode:
1, it is best to adopt full manual mode or aperture priority mode, and set the aperture as large as possible, such as F2.8, f3.5, etc. Because the camera will choose smaller apertures such as f5.6 and f8. Whether the light is sufficient under automatic or programmed settings.
2, pay attention to the choice of focus, macro shooting generally shallow depth of field, such as improper focus selection (front or back), will affect the imaging quality, it is recommended to focus on the eyes of the subject.
3. If macro shooting is too close, like wide-angle shooting, there will be obvious perspective deformation in all corners. Pay attention to the distance between the photographer and the model when shooting. The camera should be as level as possible with the model. Don't make a model's small nose into a big nose.
4. Macro shooting Because the subject is magnified, the slight vibration during shooting will seriously affect the imaging, so in the case of insufficient light, finally use a tripod or hold the camera steady.
5. To get a good depth of field effect, we should also pay attention to the distance between the subject and the background behind it. If the background is too close to the subject, there is no way to have a good depth of field effect.
