Principle of energy subtraction

Energy subtraction is digitization based on X-ray photography. It is based on the acquisition process of two exposures (the interval between two exposures is 200ms). The examination steps are the same as those of conventional chest radiography, and there is no need to pose deliberately. Subtraction can be used to display the conventional standard image (usually used for chest), the soft tissue image without bone and the bone tissue image without soft tissue respectively. It is beneficial to find the chest lesions covered by bone tissue and clearly show the bone tissue lesions.
