The buds of azaleas are like newly-knotted peaches, the blooming azaleas are like small umbrellas, their stamens are like fairies hiding in flowers in fairy tales, and a large cluster of azaleas are like beautiful and full hydrangeas.

On a clear day off in Wan Li, my family went to the countryside to visit grandma. Hearing the cuckoo's cry, I suggested to my parents to pick azaleas on the mountain, and my parents readily agreed. When I got to the mountain and saw the bright red azaleas all over the mountain, I suddenly realized why azaleas are also called azaleas.

When my family was interested in picking azaleas, I saw many bamboo shoots in the bushes, so I not only picked a bunch of azaleas, but also dug many delicious bamboo shoots home. Grandma praised me for my ability, because there are delicious bamboo shoots to eat at night.
