Cloud matting-How does PS use channels to choose cloud?

How to cut and paste cloud images? You can cut out the moving cloud image by cutting and pasting. First, use clipping's "clipping" function to cut out the clouds in the cloud image. Then, use the "adjustment" function of cropping to adjust the size and position of the cloud to make it look more realistic; Finally, use the "animation" function of clipping to set the animation effect of the cloud to make it look more dynamic.

How does ps use channels to dig out cloud selection steps 1:

First of all, in PS, open the portrait material, click the hide icon, first hide the background layer, deduct the clouds in the sky, and enter the "channel" panel. You can see that the color difference between the clouds and the background is the largest in the "red" channel. Right-click the red channel and select Copy Channel from the shortcut menu that pops up. A new "red copy" channel will appear. As shown in the figure below:

Step two:

The color difference between the main body of the material picture and the background is large, so it is very fast to use the channel to crop the picture. The method provided by the author is also very good. The process is: first, simply correct the color of the picture, then get the required gray channel through calculation, and then remove the background through coloring and eraser. Use the Reduce Talk tool, set the Range to Highlight and Exposure to 50% in the options bar, use the dodge brush tool to paint on the cloud to make it bright, and then hold down the Ctrl key and click the Red Copy channel, and the cloud selection will appear. As shown in the figure below:

Step 3:

Go back to the layer panel, add layer mask to the sky layer, then click to open the background image of the "hidden" icon, hold down the Ctrl+T key to adjust the size and position of the cloud, and use a black brush to smear the cloud to cover the portrait part, as shown in the following figure:

The final effect:

How to add clouds to pictures with ps;

First, after finding the cloud picture, cut the picture, remove the things outside the cloud with lasso and rubber, feather, copy and paste it into the picture you want.

Second,

1, open the original material, then open a cloudy landscape picture, and drag it to the background layer with the mobile tool. The landscape photo is smaller than the original picture. Press Ctrl+T to enlarge it appropriately, so that it is the same size as the picture we want to adjust.

2. Press Ctrl+J to copy the background layers of the two layers and drag them to the clouds for later use. Close your eyes before background copy 2, and process the background copy first.

3. Turn on the layer blending option.

4. In the layer style dialog box that pops up again, hold down the Alt key to divide the slider on the right side of the layer in the lower color mixing ribbon into two pieces. Then drag the slider to the left when viewing the layer until the cloud below appears. It means hiding the highlights of this layer. If you drag the black slider on the right, it will hide the dark part of this layer. This is a technique commonly used for layer synthesis.

Now we can see that although the sky is hidden in the original film, some people and bright spots are also hidden in the sea. Next, the hidden parts of seawater and people will be restored with background copy 2.

6. Select partial copy 2, which is on the top of the background copy, blocking the lower layers, and all layers seem to be restored. Click the "Add layer mask" button on the layer panel to mask the background copy 2.

7. Set the foreground color in the back to black, apply it to the sky with a black brush, and the sky appears again. Note: Adjust the opacity and hardness of the brush when wiping the edges of characters, and be careful not to erase the characters. In the mask, black is the shielding part and white is the exposed part. Cover the sky on this floor with black, and the cloudy sky on the next floor will be displayed.

8. I feel that the colors of the sky and the sea are not harmonious enough. Create a new curve adjustment layer, appropriately reduce red and green, and increase blue. On the dividing line between the background copy 2 and the curve layer, hold down the Alt key and click with the mouse to change the curve layer into a clipping mask. Then erase the characters with a black brush. The effect of clipping mask is only on the white area of the lower mask, and will not affect other areas.
