ISO for exposure of three elements
1. How sensitive is it?
Sensitivity, also known as ISO value, is a measure of the sensitivity of a negative to light.
The higher the sensitivity value, the stronger the sensitivity to light and the brighter the picture.
The lower the sensitivity value, the lower the sensitivity to light and the darker the picture.
2 How to express sensitivity?
In a camera, the sensitivity is expressed by numbers, such as 100, 200, 400, 800, etc.
The bigger the number, the stronger the light sensitivity, the more exposure!
The role of sensitivity—
Sensitivity affects exposure:
The higher the sensitivity value, the stronger the sensitivity to light and the brighter the picture.
The lower the sensitivity value, the lower the sensitivity to light and the darker the picture.
With the aperture and shutter unchanged, the higher the sensitivity, the brighter the photo will be. This is why we need to increase the camera's 1SO in low light.
Sensitivity affects image quality:
Sensitivity affects the brightness of the picture, as well as noise.
The higher the sensitivity value, the more noise in the picture, and the worse the shooting picture.
The lower the sensitivity value, the less noise in the picture and the better the picture.
Note: When shooting, ensure the stability of the camera and the proper light of the picture (make up the light appropriately in the case of dim light) to ensure the clarity and texture of the subject.
1S0 Suggestions for each scenario-
Suggestions for parameters of each scene:
In aperture priority (AV file), shutter priority (TV file), P file, M file, B door and other modes:
IS0 100 shooting slow doors (traffic, water, etc. )
IS0 100-400 Sunny and well-lit (indoor and outdoor)
IS0400-800 Poor light on cloudy days (indoor and outdoor)
IS0800- 1600 dim light environment at night
IS0 1600-3200 Dark light (indoor and outdoor)
The night scene above IS03200 (try to use fill light)
Note: The above parameters are for reference only, and should be decided according to the specific environment and picture you shot at that time. The light is dim, and some supplementary lighting methods are also beneficial to the subsequent film production.
