The camera plays the video, but not the SD card. Can I take pictures?
There are two kinds of camera shooting, one is to record images on DV tape, and the other is to shoot dynamic images on memory card, but the image quality is far less than DV, because DV tape records lossless and uncompressed images.
When you say photography, you should mean taking pictures. Now all DV machines have the function of taking photos, but photos can't be stored on DV tapes. You must use a memory card to save photos, and it doesn't matter if you don't have an SD card, but you can't take photos.
