Li Mei's Personal Experience

1952 was born in Anshun, Guizhou.

1969 graduated from Guizhou Art School, majoring in Peking Opera.

1976 engaged in photography.

1983 won the gold medal and bronze medal in the first exhibition of female photographers in China.

1984- 1993 founded and edited Modern Photography magazine in Shenzhen.

1988 editor-in-chief of photography series (published by Zhejiang Photography Publishing House)

1994- 1998 founded Focus magazine and served as its president.

200 1 won "Yipin International Photography Festival" and "Special Contribution Award of Contemporary China Photography".

In 2003, he was the artistic director of chinese national geography magazine.

In 2003, he was the curator of Beijing Epson Film Art Studio.

In 2004, the photo review of "Glory of the Victims" won the second prize of the annual review of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

In 2005, he won the "Curator of the Year Award" of Lianzhou International Photography Festival.

Since 2002, he has been a visiting professor at Luxun Academy of Fine Arts.
