What fruit does Panzhihua produce?

Panzhihua is rich in mango, loquat, blood plum, lotus, pomegranate, strawberry, cherry, pitaya, pineapple, Sakyamuni and other special fruits, which are fresh all year round.

Panzhihua, the only city named after flowers in China, enjoys the reputation of "flowers are the city, and cities are the flowers". Panzhihua is also the first city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, where Jinsha River and Yalong River meet. Panzhihua is the gateway of Sichuan to the south, the nearest point to South Asia and Southeast Asia, and the only subtropical fruit production base in Sichuan.

Extended data:

The reason why Panzhihua is rich in fruits;

1. First, in terms of latitude, Panzhihua has a low latitude. Although it is not a tropical region, it is a temperate region close to the tropics. Compared with other temperate regions, the temperature is higher and the heat conditions are certainly better.

2. Secondly, the surrounding area of Panzhihua city belongs to the subtropical monsoon dry-hot valley climate, with little precipitation, abundant sunshine, long sunshine time and strong solar radiation. At the same time, the temperature in the valley is relatively higher than that in the same latitude area, resulting in better local heat conditions;

3. Thirdly, the area near the main city of Panzhihua is located in the valley, which can block the invasion of cold air in winter, so the temperature here is high and the heat conditions are good.

Based on the above reasons, the subtropical region where Panzhihua is located can meet the growth of tropical fruits, but compared with the real tropical region, most tropical fruits in Panzhihua will mature later.
