What mode do you usually use to take portraits indoors?
Portrait shooting is the main theme in photography, and most shooting occasions will involve the shooting of people.
The most commonly used modes of SLR camera shooting are aperture priority mode, speed priority mode and automatic mode, while other modes are less involved in general portrait shooting; We can only choose the appropriate mode according to the shooting conditions at the scene. The portrait shooting mentioned here avoids the portrait shooting in photo studios and photo studios, which is commonly called "ordinary" portraits.
First, choose aperture priority mode when the outdoor light is good. This refers to the outdoor in broad daylight. This kind of scene should be the best under all natural lighting conditions, and aperture priority mode can be selected completely. The biggest advantage of aperture priority mode is to control the depth of field by controlling the aperture size, so as to achieve the purpose of highlighting the theme. Generally, you can choose a large aperture (small or medium value), such as about 3.5-5.6. Sometimes you can choose a larger aperture or a lens with a larger aperture, but generally don't choose the maximum aperture of the lens, because it is often at the maximum aperture of the lens.
Second, indoor character activity or portrait selection speed priority mode. When shooting people indoors, the lighting conditions are obviously worse than those outside, and we have no means of artificial lighting and auxiliary lighting. At this time, the shooting speed has become the key to whether we can shoot well. We can use the speed of1/50-1100 seconds to make the sensitivity in the "automatic" state, and the aperture is configured by the camera itself, which can ensure the stability of indoor portrait shooting and the picture is clear. Experienced people can still slow down at a speed of 1/30 seconds. However, because the subject is not an object, there must be movement and action, so 1/50 seconds is the lower limit, and generally it cannot be lower than this speed.
Third, the shooting is urgent, and the automatic mode is selected if it is not handled properly. In this scenario, it is impossible to give us enough consideration, let alone to think and set it slowly. We simply choose automatic mode to shoot. If you can shoot it clearly, you will succeed, and nothing else is needed. This is also a very real idea.
Fourth, choose speed priority mode for stage performance. Stage performances are characterized by changeable lights and rich colors. Although it is artificially distributed as a whole, it cannot be compared with outdoor sunlight. Therefore, it is generally appropriate to shoot in speed priority mode.
The choice of shooting mode mentioned above is relative, not absolute; If your kung fu is sophisticated enough, shooting in full manual mode (M file) is also an option.
