There are 23 full-time teachers and 14 part-time teachers in the School of Journalism and Communication. Among the 23 full-time teachers, there are 2 professors and 1 associate professors, accounting for 52.1% of senior titles, 9 lecturers, 2 senior photographers and 1 engineer. There are 4 doctors and 13 masters, accounting for 74%. There are 14 part-time teachers, most of whom are associate professors or above, senior engineers or doctors and masters. Among the full-time teachers, there are 6 double-qualified teachers who have served as newspaper editor-in-chief, CCTV reporter, provincial TV station director and planner and senior photographer, accounting for 26% of the total number of teachers.

The School of Journalism and Communication has four teaching and research sections and an experimental center: journalism teaching and research section, communication teaching and research section, advertising teaching and research section, secretarial teaching and research section and news and communication experimental center.

On the whole, the faculty of the School of Journalism and Communication is neat and strong, which can meet the needs of teaching and scientific research in various majors. Teachers in the School of Journalism and Communication insist on teaching and educating people, hold regular teaching seminars and actively participate in teaching reform, with good teaching quality. Among the teachers, the old, the middle-aged and the young are well combined, and the elderly middle-aged teachers play the leading role, spreading, helping and guiding the young teachers, and implementing strict checks from the instruction of the teaching plan to the preparation of lessons and inspection. At present, every course offered by journalism majors, teachers can fully prepare lessons and have corresponding teaching plans, most of which are taught with multimedia courseware made by teachers themselves.

In the p>21-211 academic year, the average score of students' online evaluation of teaching was 86.6. The highest score of teachers in this major is 94.1, and the lowest score is 77.2.

Among the full-time teachers, one teacher won the Excellent Award of Teachers' Morality and Style of Shanghai Education Commission, one teacher won the Outstanding Contribution Award of Shanghai Radio and Television System, one young teacher won the Outstanding Educator Award of our school, and one teacher's monograph "On China News Reform" won the Outstanding Achievement Award of the 9th Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences and the Outstanding Achievement Award of Shanghai Deng Xiaoping Theory Research and Propaganda. The collective project of Journalism Teaching and Research Section "Research and Practice of Journalism Discipline Construction in Private Colleges" won the first prize of teaching achievement of Shanghai Jianqiao College in 28. In the 29-21 academic year, 21 full-time and part-time teachers won teaching awards at all levels.

Since 26 (when the Department of Cultural Communication was established), the teachers of the School of Journalism and Communication have undertaken 3 scientific research projects, 19 of which have been completed and 11 are under study. * * * has published 66 academic papers, and since 26, 27 monographs and teaching materials have been compiled, and 4 are under preparation. Through the political study of teaching staff, teachers' ethics report meeting, pre-job training for teachers, special training for counselors, special speech activities, telling short stories around us, visiting and studying, etc., various forms of teachers' ethics activities education are carried out. Teachers were organized to participate in the theme reading competition of "Education makes life better | Education makes Expo more exciting" of Shanghai Education Union, and Ana, a journalism teacher, won the prize on behalf of the school. Through special study and activities, teachers' overall awareness, post awareness and responsibility awareness are continuously strengthened, and the construction of teachers' morality in our department is continuously promoted.

Every year, the Department of Cultural Communication of Teachers' Day (the predecessor of the School of Journalism and Communication) should summarize and praise the outstanding teachers who have emerged in our department. In 28, Associate Professor Chen Mei was named as an excellent teacher and young teacher in our school, and Zhou Hongfeng was named as an activist in teaching and educating people and director of journalism. Teacher Gao Dong extended the classroom teaching in the form of "blog", strengthening the communication between teachers and students, caring and guiding students, which is not only a good educational means, but also a new position of moral education in our school and a new carrier of moral construction. We organized the reading of articles by students among teachers, which inspired all teachers to love education and students more, so as to better shoulder the heavy responsibility of teaching and educating people and cultivating talents.

(5) Pay attention to the construction of young teachers' morality. Do a good job in the construction of young teachers' morality, be strict in work, be carefully trained in business, be enthusiastic in life, and help and guide young teachers to understand the history and fine traditions of the school through theoretical study, teaching and scientific research activities, social work and social practice, bringing the old with the new and pairing up. In the case of limited school resources, create conditions to send young teachers to attend some professional system and national conferences, enhance their professional awareness, abide by professional norms, carry forward their professionalism, master the excellent skills of teaching and educating people, and integrate their ideal pursuit into the school's career development. In recent years, a number of outstanding young teachers with excellent teaching, strong scientific research and good ethics have emerged in our department. This year, five outstanding young teachers in our college were selected and employed by the school as vice presidents and vice presidents.

Through personal summary and department organization assessment, in recent years, many teachers majoring in journalism, such as Gao Dong, Qian Xiaowen, Ana, Zhou Hongfeng, Shen Huiping, etc., have won excellent awards. At the same time, strengthen the analysis of teachers' morality construction in our department, and study the new requirements, new situations and new problems of teachers' morality construction in different stages. Convene a departmental meeting in time to study the work, conscientiously implement the "Implementation Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving the Construction of Teachers' Morality" of the school, consider the rewards and punishments of teachers' morality, and give priority to the evaluation of excellent teachers.
