What are the skills of photographing the moon? Seven skills of shooting the moon.
2. Use full manual mode. When shooting moonlight, we are usually in a dark environment. Therefore, if you use semi-automatic or prerequisite mode when shooting, the camera may be misled by the dark surrounding environment and mistakenly think that the light is insufficient, so the shutter will be slower or the aperture will be larger. Finally, the photos will be overexposed, so it is best to set the camera to full manual mode when shooting moonlight, and then fine-tune the photos according to the environment. The following is one of the commonly used settings: aperture f/8, shutter1125, ISO 100. Of course, this is only a reference and must be adjusted according to the actual situation.
3. Pay attention to the shutter speed. I believe many beginners have the same idea. Should we slow down the shutter speed to shoot moonlight in a dark environment, so as to shoot bright moonlight? In fact, this is not inevitable, because the moon and the earth will rotate, so the shorter the shutter time, the clearer the picture can be captured, reducing the chance that the photo will be blurred due to the movement of the moon. Moreover, the moon is a ray of light that reflects the sun, and actually has a chance to get more light than we expected, so if the shutter is too slow, the details may disappear because of the overexposure of the moon.
4. Use a tripod and a timer. Like shooting other night scenes, it is recommended to put the camera on a tripod. They are all shot in the dark and need to be very stable to get a clear image. Moreover, the moon is far away from us, so as long as there is some slight shaking, the picture will be blurred. Therefore, it is recommended to use a tripod to shoot the moon to keep the camera stable.
5. Use small aperture and low ISO. It is suggested to shoot the full moon with a fine aperture f/8-f/ 16) to make the image clearer. In addition, ISO should be lowered to obtain the best shooting quality, otherwise the photos are prone to noise.
6. Use single-point focusing. In order to make the moon shadow more prominent, it is recommended to use single-point focusing when shooting. Using single-point focusing can make the focus more accurate, and the pit in the moonlight can be photographed more clearly.
7. Increase the contrast. Shooting moonlight can improve the preset contrast and make the moonlight more vivid. Remember, you just need to improve the contrast slightly. If you set the contrast too high, it will be counterproductive.
