Careers and Careers

Career and Career

□Shangyang

Ten years ago in the summer, when I walked out of campus, I wanted to find a good career. As a result, I traveled around in a hurry, visited several provinces, and worked several jobs. Now, ten years have passed, and when I look back, I have grown older and younger. I have not achieved any great results at work, and I have not left much of anything valuable. Watching the days go by day by day, I feel really panicked.

In this panic and confusion, I returned to my alma mater. When old friends get together, they share a toast, and behind each of them's splendid appearance, if we talk in depth, we will find that they all have many difficulties, as well as more or less worries about the future. I became even more anxious until I saw Teacher Guo again.

When I was in school, I knew that Teacher Guo was creating, but at that time, he was unknown. A year after I left school, he, who had been sitting on the bench for ten years, finally erupted like a volcano that had been stagnant for hundreds of years. More than ten books were published one after another, and he suddenly became a famous person in history.

When we meet again, in addition to reminiscing about old friendships, Teacher Guo also combines his own life experiences to give his always thoughtful warnings. He said that no matter how busy you are in the future, no matter what kind of work you will take on, you must find a place where you can park your soul. "This place can settle your soul, place your emotions, offset the hardship and fatigue of your work, and make your career go more smoothly."

Like a bright light emerging from the endless darkness, Like a sudden rainfall on the parched earth, my panicked heart suddenly brightened up, and I suddenly realized where I was confused. An old government official who has worked for decades once said to me that working day after day, year after year, nothing is left except the accumulation of time. To put it bluntly, work is used to make a living and cannot carry more.

So, where does our heart rest? This is what Teacher Guo wants to tell us. In addition to career, we must also find a career for our own aspirations. Let's call it a career, so as to settle our souls and express our emotions. As Teacher Guo said, "Everyone's work is very tiring, and when talking about it brings tears, if there is nothing to put one's life and feelings on, wouldn't life be more gloomy?"

A journalist friend has a prosperous news business, but if you go to his house at night or on weekends, you will find that he is not studying news writing, but quietly writing calligraphy stroke by stroke. . His calligraphy is quite good, but he has never been exhibited in exhibitions. When asked, he would always say calmly that it was purely a personal hobby, not for ostentation.

This is the difference between a career and a career. Career is oriented to society and is done for the eyes of bosses, colleagues and others, while career is self-directed and is only responsible for one's own heart. Like careers, aspirations can be diverse. It could be writing, collecting, photography, or something else. In short, no matter what it is, there must be one.

Having a career and inner peace can make a person stronger. While hedging against professional fatigue and pain, you can also live with dignity. There is no need to humble yourself to the point of being humble and look down on others just because you are worried about losing your job. Even if the job at hand is knocked to the ground, the sky will not fall, and I can still live a good life. Because he still has his ambition, and letting him devote it can settle his life and emotions, and even make him have food and clothing, and become famous.

A career must be worthy of the salary; a career must be worthy of the heart.
