Has Polaroid mini90 been discontinued? Why can't the flagship store be sold?

The production has not been stopped, and the flagship store has not been sold out. It is being replenished.

Polaroid cameras have low technical content. As a classic model, mini90 is also a machine for shooting Fuji 3-inch "mini" photographic paper, which already belongs to the ceiling.

I have been playing photography by myself for so many years and used a lot of photographic equipment. The digital camera in my hand is constantly updated and iterated, and I always feel that the newer things, the better. Only Polaroid has always been an alternative existence. This feeling is not how good the camera is.

Polaroid's modern appearance design, thick and retro colors, ritualized cultivation mode and perfect skin color display. The operation mode of instant shooting also makes every shutter press very precious. This is something that digital photography can't bring me.

Fuji launched instax mini LiPlay on 20 19. Although this machine also shoots "mini" 3-inch photographic paper, it is a digital-analog model. I can add filters to my mobile phone and print photos. I'm afraid it's not good. If I delete them, I will shoot them again. It's completely different from the original appearance.

Mini90 is like a bottle of wine, the longer it gets, the more mellow it becomes; Those excellent latecomers seem to never find that smell again.

Principle of polarizer

Compared with ordinary cameras, the lens and shutter of the primary imaging camera (Polaroid) are no different. Its special working principle and the body of disposable imaging camera loaded with film are also different. In order to transfer and crush charges, there are a pair of stainless steel rollers on the fuselage, and the positive and negative film bases pass through the rollers.

The photosensitive material used for primary imaging consists of two substrates. The substrate of the first layer is a negative film, and its surface is coated with silver halide photosensitizer with high silver content and thin coating; The substrate of the second layer is a positive film, and the surface is coated with a coating composed of activated carbon, sulfide, rubber, etc. There is a plastic bag with only medicine slurry between the two substrates. The slurry is made of a mixture of developing fixing agent, silver halide solvent and rubber.

After the exposure of the negative, the two bases are pressed by a pair of rollers at the same time, the plastic bag is crushed, and the slurry is evenly coated on the overlapping surface of the negative and the positive. A series of rapid chemical reactions will occur between the positive film and the negative film.

In the emulsion layer of the negative film, the silver halide in the photosensitive part is reduced to produce metallic silver, which is on the negative film; The unexposed silver halide is dissolved by the slurry, diffuses to the receiving layer of the positive film, contacts with the catalyst such as silver sulfide in the receiving layer, and is reduced to metallic silver, thus forming the positive image needed by people on the double-layer film base. This forms a photo.

At present, the imaging films without developing cameras on the market are all boxed, with 8 films in each box. When shooting, the film is packed in a box at the back of the fuselage. After shooting, pull out the leading paper so that the front and back sides overlap, and then pull out the film from the gap between a pair of rollers. After a few seconds, the positive film is removed from the negative film and coated with a layer of varnish to get a bright and smooth photo.
