What do you think of the development of domestic film and television dramas?

For China's film and television works, apart from consuming the scripts left over from history, we have no better themes to explore, not only the lack of themes, but more importantly, the industrial revolution of China's film and television dramas has no embryonic form. The personal characteristics of the fourth generation directors in China are unique, and there is no way to copy them. The thinking about movies brought by their times can't meet the expectations of business people. The tragedy of China's literary films lies in overestimating the belief of the audience in China, so the literary films have basically disappeared.

Zhang Yimou's attempt at Sino-US cooperation in "The Great Wall" is neither fish nor fowl. It is just a fragment of Lao Mouzi's own understanding of light and shadow. There is no way to better combine it with the commercial blockbuster brought by the technology industry to explain a truth and story, so it is a complete failure. But I am very grateful to Lao Mouzi for his attempt to discredit himself, and he is bold and hard. We have to pin our hopes on the five generations of directors, Wu Ershan and Ning Hao. Business meets the cost demands of the industrial age, and story feelings meet the feelings of the audience. Naturally, the audience pays the bill. After all, Wu Ershan's grasp of aesthetics and color has reached a stage where it can be a blockbuster, while Ning Hao is good at finding small comedy elements around him and changing human demands. If movies want to learn American popcorn elements, they will suffer sooner or later, because the audience will see not only special effects, but also the feelings around us. The retirement of a group of old artists also shaped the depth of their works. I can only see a lot of so-called small fresh meat left by Korean culture, without masculinity and solid professional knowledge. They just rely on their appeal to attract fans. Therefore, if China's film and television drama is to break through, in a sense, it is the docking of the tastes of writers, filmmakers, film industry, artists and audiences. There are still many places that need our efforts.

Nowadays, most of the film and television works are commodities. First of all, they should cater to the market and meet the needs of the current audience, so they will naturally reflect a part of the current social culture. With the arrival and further development of the media age, more and more film and television talents will stand out more easily. In the future, film and television works will be in full bloom, the scale will be bigger and bigger, the exhibition space and stage of talents will be bigger and bigger, and more "dark horses" will be killed.
