20 19 Artist Zhang took "24 Hours of Art History" to the second Pingyao International Sculpture Festival, which brought a unique visual feast to the audience. This work creates a huge art history theater from a unique perspective, and the drama of love is staged by one famous character after another.

The figures in the installation works include surrealist painter Rene Magritte, Mexican female painter Frida Kahlo, Magritte's apple falling in love with a dove, and Frida's love seed growing into a touching flower. The famous Sunflower by Van Gogh and Canned Food by andy warhol are also among them.

The 24 Hours of China Art History presented this time belongs to this series, which continues the fashionable style and colorful lines. Zhang tried richer themes, inherited China culture, and constantly innovated forms of expression. "24 Hours of China Art History" restores the art history theater from a unique perspective, experiences the Millennium art scene in China, and travels around China art history for 24 hours, which narrows the distance between contemporary art and traditional culture and has far-reaching significance.

Nine years' experience in studying acting has prompted Zhang to believe that drama, as an artistic language, can not only bring visual richness, but also help the audience to add cognitive experience.

He chose to combine the identities of "director", "narrator", "painter", "photographer" and even "creator" to express his arrangement and presentation of fable story structure in all forms of language. These works are not only exquisite, but also contain the establishment of ideology behind the story.

When many "parts" in the work are separated from the work and displayed separately, it can be established in narrative, because Zhang has the ambition and charm of "creator" in the definition of "thing". In his view, every element on the stage of drama will be related to the development of drama itself.

Zhang's artistic creation path is very clear. He hopes to transform his ideology and perceptual experience of life into drama vision with relatively full interest and attitude, so as to mobilize the audience's own knowledge system, form their own different interpretations, and strongly feel his unique narrative arrangement from his creation.
