Four stages of bee growth process
1. Egg stage: banana-shaped, with thick head and thin tail, milky white appearance and hatching after 3 days. 2. Larval stage: white worm-shaped, initially C-shaped, then gradually straightened with the growth of the worm, with its head facing the nest and fed by worker bees. 3. Pupal stage: During this period, internal organs undergo transformation and differentiation, forming various organs of bees, and biting through the lid when they mature. 4, adult bees: the exoskeleton continues to harden, the limbs are straight, and various organs gradually mature.
First, the egg stage
The queen bee lays eggs, which are banana-shaped, with thick head and thin abdomen, milky appearance and slightly transparent membrane. After 3 days, they hatch and become larvae.
Second, the larval stage
1, the larva is a white worm, which is C-shaped at first, then straightens out gradually with the growth of the worm, and its head faces the nest, during which it is fed by worker bees.
2. If it is a worker bee, feed royal jelly three days ago; For the last three days, they feed on pollen and nectar. If it is a queen bee, it means that it has been feeding on royal jelly.
3. Worker bees, the larval stage is about 6 days. Drone, the larval stage is about 7 days. Queen bee, the larval stage is about 5 days.
Third, the pupal stage
1. During this period, the internal organs mainly transformed and differentiated, forming various organs of bees (the larval morphology gradually disintegrated but the adult morphology began to stand out). When mature, take off the pupa shell, bite the nest cover and feather into a bee.
2. The pupation period of worker bees and pupae is about 1 1 day (for Italian bees, it is about 12 days). Drone, the pupal period is about 13 days. Queen bee, the pupal stage is about 8 days.
Four. womanhood
1, exoskeleton is constantly hardened, limbs are straight, and various organs are gradually mature.
2. Take Chinese bees as an example. Bees are small, with black head and chest. The queen bee is about 17.5mm long, with black or brownish red body color and covered with black and dark yellow fluff. The worker bee is about 1 1mm in length, 5mm in beak length, with a black ventral plate and a brownish yellow ring, and its body surface is covered with short gray fluff (the abdomen of the Chinese bee in high-latitude mountain areas is dark, while that in low-latitude plain areas is yellow). The unmanned plane is about 12.5mm long, black or dark brown in color and covered with gray fluff.
3. The life span of queen bee is about 3-5 years, and the longest life span is 9 years. The life of drones is about 3-4 months. Worker bees can live for about 40-50 days in summer, 3-6 months in winter, and 28 days during honey gathering.
