DJI released Ronin 2, a professional image production-grade pan-tilt system, with a maximum load of 13.6 kg.
Ronin 2 is made of light carbon fiber, and its motor power is 8 times higher than Ronin's, which can withstand wind resistance and inertia under high-speed photography. The main camera can shoot stably at the speed of 120 km. Combined with the new control algorithm, GPS module and sensor, the control accuracy can reach 0.02 ". In addition, Ronin 2 also has a touch screen and a setting button, so that the operator can see the situation of the pan/tilt and set it without matching the smart phone. In addition, it also has built-in ATS parameter self-tuning function, which can automatically adjust parameters according to the current load.
Ronin 2 equipped with a red dragon camera can provide 2.5 hours of continuous operation. At the same time, a dual-battery hot-plug system is adopted, so that one battery can be replaced directly without shutdown, and the long-term operation needs no interruption. In addition, the special battery also has a built-in heating system, which can withstand the low temperature of -20 degrees.
