How to do a good job of coral landscaping in fish tanks

Seawater coral landscaping is an essential step in seawater tank landscaping. Whether the seawater tank is pleasing to the eye depends on whether the landscape of the seawater tank is beautiful.

Coral can be added after living stones and other landscape stones are placed. Coral has a variety of shapes, such as dendrite, brain, tree, strip, flake, spiral and so on. According to the different needs and shapes of corals for light, the seawater coral landscape is placed in different parts of living stones, forming a scene of "far and near". According to the requirements of light, corals are divided into: strong light areas, such as button corals and brain corals; Medium light areas, such as butterfly corals: low light areas, such as sunflowers and combs.

Marine coral landscaping can be divided into soft coral landscaping, hard coral landscaping and soft and hard coral landscaping. Soft coral (lps) is easier to raise than hard coral (sps). The common soft corals in seawater tanks are mushroom coral, brain coral, sun flower, cat's eye coral, bubble coral, frog egg, thousand hands and so on. Because of the skeleton, soft coral landscapes are often attached to living stones or used for mild landscapes. For example, brain coral can be placed in the middle and lower part of the living stone or directly laid at the bottom of the tank. Hard corals (sps) are represented by disk corals, staghorn corals, calyx corals and rose corals. Generally, hard coral can't be placed directly on the living stone or the bottom of the tank, so it needs chassis support. Hard corals can be matched with soft corals to create the feeling of mountains and peaks in landscaping.

The landscape of seawater tanks needs landscape stones, corals and fish swimming among living stones and corals. Reasonable use of living stones and corals to decorate the scenery will inevitably create a seawater tank with natural coral scenery.
