Canon Xiaobaide Portrait Photography

Completely misleading.

I have never heard that you can shoot scenery with Xiao Bai or Guo Xuwei. People always shoot the scenery with wide angle or super wide angle.

Background blur is directly related to focal length and aperture. Generally speaking, the longer the focal length, the greater the blur, and the larger the aperture (opening), the better the blur. For telephoto lenses such as Xiaobai or Guo Xuwei, it is only suitable for shooting portraits, stages and so on. , but not suitable for the scenery.

The reason why I like Guo Xuwei is that it is not suitable for portraits, because its aperture is not big enough. If I were you, I'd rather choose Xiaobai without IS than Guo Xuwei with IS, because the constant aperture of 2.8 IS not as good as that of IS.

I chose Xiaobai (EF70-200/2.8L) for the following reasons:

With a large aperture of1.f28, the background blur can be better, but Guo Xuwei's F4 can't.

2. Xiaobai is very thick (diameter 77mm) and looks comfortable and coquettish.

3. Guo Xuwei's IS is said to increase the shutter speed of the third gear, so it can only be in F4 at most, and Xiaobai can completely open it to 2.8, which will undoubtedly increase the shutter speed above the third gear.
