With the theme of "Facing the sea, azaleas are in full bloom", this exhibition is the first national azaleas exhibition held in northern China.

China Rhododendron Exhibition is an important festival brand that integrates tourism promotion, boutique display, cultural exchange, business activities and tourism experience with Rhododendron as the medium and many cities at home and abroad. It has been held for 15 times in succession, which is the largest azalea exhibition in China and has a wide influence in the world. Shanhaitian Tourism Resort has been tested in many aspects and finally won this honor. This year's National Flower Festival settled in Rizhao.

Progress in the preparatory work for the flower show

Make every effort to create a never-ending azalea exhibition. China (Rizhao) Rhododendron Expo Park is specially built in Shanhaitian Tourist Resort, located on the west side of Taohua Island Scenic Area in Shanhaitian Tourist Resort. Bihai Road and Beihai Road are connected with the urban area, and they are the only rhododendron gardens near the sea in China.

The planned investment of the Expo Park is 65.438+0.5 billion yuan, with a total area of 2,565.438+0 mu. Mainly build a world-class rhododendron gene bank, rhododendron theme park, garden design and talent training exchange platform, and ecological construction demonstration base. An indoor exhibition area of 8,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition garden of 30,000 square meters have been built.

In the Expo Park, flowers, forests, gardens and the sea will be organically combined, and international azalea gardens such as Holland Pavilion and Belgium Pavilion will be set up to build intelligent temperature-controlled exhibition halls, valleys, children's parks and other functional areas integrating rhododendron breeding, scientific research and appreciation, so as to create an international azalea theme park integrating improved seed breeding, talent training, flower trading and cultural exchange.

The Expo site is divided into indoor exhibition area and outdoor exhibition area. The indoor exhibition area is in the greenhouse, including indoor landscape, central waterscape, standard exhibition area, bonsai area and family gardening area. There are nearly 20 outdoor gardens such as International Garden, Shenzhen Garden, Shanghai Binjiang Park, Guizhou Baili Rhododendron Garden, Jinggangshan Scenic Garden, Changzhou Sculpture Manor and Wuxi Xihui Park.

The Rhododendron Exhibition attracted more than 100 exhibitors from German, Netherlands and other countries and China 17 provinces and cities. There are more than 200 kinds of azaleas on display: mountain azaleas, azaleas, spring azaleas, summer azaleas, western azaleas, rock azaleas and Jindalai. At present, exhibitors and products have entered the market one after another, and indoor and outdoor exhibitions have stepped up.

The opening ceremony of the flower show will be held at 9:30 am on April 20th in China (Rizhao) Rhododendron Expo Park. The whole flower show lasts for one month and is divided into flower week (April 20 -27), parent-child week (April 28-May 3), vitality week (May 4-1 1) and romance week (May 12 -20).

In the later period of Shanhaitian Tourist Resort, the nearby Wolong Mountain will be engaged in the activity of attracting flowers up the mountain with the theme of "facing the sea, azaleas in full bloom", supporting afforestation 1.500 mu, and it will take three to five years to create a landscape with a hundred flowers blooming.
