Four skills of how to shoot indoor photography

1 natural light. Windows may be the most beautiful light source under every eaves. Its existence is like a huge soft box, and different windows produce different effects. Put the subject near the window, and then the light can start its beautiful performance. The lighting area is large, soft and uniform, which can reproduce the layering and texture, and can also express the three-dimensional sense.

2. The distance from the subject to the window. The photographer is close to the window, and the outdoor light on one side is very bright, and the dark side is very dark, and the contrast between light and dark is large, which makes it difficult to expose. Indoor, there is a big gap between the brightness of shadow surface and outdoor, so it is sometimes not enough to rely on the weak reflection of wall surface. The closer the main body is to the window, the greater the contrast between light and shade. If the subject is far away from the window and close to the wall without a light source, it is equivalent to weakening the main light. And the auxiliary light is enhanced. The contrast will be reduced, the tone will tend to be dull, the layers will be rich, and the details will be well represented.

3. Reflective ability of indoor reflecting surface. The incident light outside the window affects both sides of the subject, and the reflective intensity of reflective surfaces such as indoor walls, floors and furniture affects the dark side of the subject, thus determining the light ratio of the characters. The closer the subject is to the wall facing the window, the lighter the color of the reflecting surface such as the wall and the ground, the higher the reflectivity, the brighter the dark side of the subject, and the smaller the light ratio. A small room with light wallpaper will avoid a large and dark room reflecting more light, and the whole space environment will be brighter.

4. light bulb. You can also use indoor light bulbs. Remove the lampshade and use only light bulbs. Place the main light source in front of the subject, illuminating half and above the head. If there is another lamp, it can be placed further behind the subject.
