Is micro-single really better than single comparison?

It is unscientific to say that the micro-single sensor is smaller than the single contrast, and it is also inaccurate for people downstairs to say that the micro-single sensor is smaller than the SLR, because at least four-thirds of the sensor SLR still exists in theory, so at least some micro-single sensors are larger than a single SLR sensor.

Micro-single and SLR can not be generalized, but should be analyzed in detail, and also depends on the comparative test results of actual shooting.

An authoritative foreign website has done a very famous comparative test. These two cameras are Olympus's entry micro-single EPL 1 and Nikon's entry SLR D3000. It stands to reason that the sensor used in D3000 is APS-C, which is larger than the 4/3 sensor of EPL 1, and Nikon's brand is also more famous than Olympus, but the result is surprising. In all aspects, EPL 1.

Therefore, we can only say the specific model, not discuss it in general.

Some microchips are definitely not good, such as Pentax Q, 1/2.3 sensor. However, most other micro-orders on the market performed well. In addition to the first two models, Sony Nex series is not bad now, and Olympus micro-single is not bad. Among them, the high-end EM5 is better than many mid-range SLR in many aspects, and the picture quality is amazing. Panasonic and Samsung's micro-orders are also good, but the high-end feeling is worse. On the contrary, Canon and Nikon's micro-orders are deliberately poor in order not to weaken their SLR market.

Of course, as far as the current market is concerned, no micro-single can be compared with professional Quan Huafu SLR such as Canon 5D3 and Nikon D800 (Sony A99 is not a micro-single, but a single battery, which cannot be confused). After the full-page micro-single appeared in the future, this gap did not exist.

The disadvantage of micro-single is that there is generally no optical viewfinder, and the back screen can't be turned off, so it consumes more power, so the battery life is poor. In addition, although continuous high-speed shooting is possible, the display speed of the back screen is still not as good as that of the optical viewfinder.

At present, the best micro-singles are Olympus OM-D EM5 and Sony Nex-7.

If you want to find a cheap one, just choose from two micro-single series.
