What is the "Tower Bridge of London" in Suzhou?
Details:
This tower bridge spans Yuanhe Hall, and its shape is basically based on the original bridge in London, England. However, because the bridge deck is wider than the original bridge, it was changed from twin towers to four towers by the designer. These four towers, each 40 meters high, have several small minarets built on them, which look like four crowns from the renderings.
The length and width of each tower bridge in Suzhou "London Tower Bridge" is 10 meter, which is divided into fast lane, slow lane and sidewalk horizontally, with a total width of 45.9 meters. The lower part of the tower is perforated for the passage of non-motor vehicles. There is a suspended pedestrian passage between the two vertical towers, with glass windows installed on both sides. Pedestrians can enjoy the scenery on both sides of Yuanhetang when crossing the bridge. The tower is divided into five floors with stairs, two of which are equipped with elevators.
Because this tower bridge is very similar to London Bridge in England, many photo studios and newcomers regard it as a good place to take pictures.
