Bende Regional Park is located on the south bank of the Fraser River, and its landform is similar to that of a colonial farm. Flooded plain forests, swamps, shrubs and recently strengthened waterways provide habitats for many wild species. In addition to three new picnic tents, there are 6.8 kilometers of trails and 5.3 kilometers of bicycle lanes, as well as scenic spots to watch wildlife and river activities along Parsons Waterway. Xidi Trail starts from Terra Nova Park in the north, reaches Garry Point Park in the south and sturgeon beach in the west, covering an area of 265,438+0,525 mu. Every year, 6.5438+0.4 million bird migration passes through here, which is an excellent habitat for nesting birds. In this way, Xidi Trail extends along the sturgeon beach, with panoramic views of strait of georgia, Gulf Islands and estuaries in the west and seamounts and Vancouver International Airport in the north.
