Edward Michael Griles (English: edward michael grylls,1June 7, 974), nicknamed Baye, is a British adventure survival expert, mountaineer, adventurer, host, best-selling author and international speaker.

It is famous for its survival program "Man and Wild" (translated from Hong Kong: "Man in the Wild"). From 1994 to 1997, he joined the British Air Force Secret Service, learning unarmed combat, desert and cold war, survival skills and so on.

He has been to North Africa twice. 1At the end of 1996, he suffered a back injury while skydiving in South Africa. At the age of 23, he climbed Mount Everest and became the youngest Englishman to climb Mount Everest.

In July 2009, at the age of 35, he became the youngest general leader of the British Scout Association. Because the food he ate in the host program "Survival in the Wilderness" was so amazing, he was dubbed "the man standing at the top of the food chain".
