Is aps Quan Huafu or Half Frame?

Aps is a half frame.

The following is a detailed explanation of the relevant knowledge of the full-width and half-width of the camera.

1, camera frame knowledge

The frame of a camera refers to the sensor of the camera, which is divided into Quan Huafu and half frame. The difference between a half frame and a Quan Huafu is determined by the size of the sensor, which also leads to the difference in body size, image quality and lens usage.

The sensor size of a half frame is generally 23.4mm× 15.6mm, while that of Quan Huafu is generally 36mm×24mm, so judging from the pictures taken, of course, the picture of Quan Huafu is clearer. After all, Quan Huafu's sensors are very large.

2.APS knowledge

APS originally meant "advanced photography system", which was the product of the transitional period before the appearance of digital cameras. APS allows users to switch three types of frames, H type, C type and P type, namely:

H-type: 30.3× 16.6mm, length-width ratio16: 9;

Type C: 24.9× 16.6mm, with the length-width ratio of 3: 2;

Type P: 30.3× 10. 1mm, and the length-width ratio is 3: 1.

For example, "APS-C" means that the border is 24.9×16.6 mm. If only one APS is written, it means the above three kinds of borders: H-type, C-type and P-type.

Therefore, the H-frame, C-frame and P-frame in aps can't reach 36×24mm in Quan Huafu, so aps is a half-frame.
