"AGirlandherRoom" is a two-year shooting project by Lebanese female photographer RaniaMatar. In this project, photographers visited different parts of the United States and the Middle East, photographed the rooms of girls with different backgrounds and family environments, and showed their life, adolescent self-awareness, and the integration and conflict of different cultures.

"As a result of studying architecture, composition and observation have almost become my second nature. Every time I go to a new environment, I will unconsciously notice many neglected details, and try to rearrange these details to find their * * * and characteristics. Architecture has taught me how to understand a space, and photography is the way for me to integrate into a space and convey my personal feelings.

About photographers

RaniaMatar, a female photographer, was born in Lebanon and 1984 went to the United States. She graduated from the Department of Architecture of Beirut University, studied photography at the New England Photography School, gave photography lessons to children in Lebanese refugee camps in summer, and paid long attention to the Middle East and women's topics. Her photos were published by world-class media.
