Introduction of scenic spots in Taiping ancient city

The Taiping Ancient City Wall in Chongzuo was built in the fifth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1372). At that time, it was built of earth walls, with a height of 2 feet 1 foot, a thickness of 1 foot and a circumference of 624 feet. There are Chang 'an in the east, Zhen 'an in the south and Yuan 'an in the west, which is a great west. In the sixth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, the Zuojiang River flooded and the city wall collapsed more than 400 feet. Since liberation, due to the expansion of urban construction, the ancient city has been demolished and paved with bricks and stones.

On May 19, 2006, Chongzuo held a review meeting on the feasibility study report of the historical and cultural heritage protection and development project of Yongtaiping Ancient City. Experts from relevant departments in Guangxi put forward pertinent opinions and suggestions on the development and utilization of Taiping ancient city in Chongzuo city. The intangible cultural heritage is centered on the "March 3" song fair. The historical relics in the project area are basically distributed in the downtown area of Chongzuo along the Zuojiang River around Taiping Ancient City, which skillfully integrates the history and culture of Chongzuo City with the beautiful mountains and rivers.

1, Ancient City Wall: The core attraction of the inner city of Taiping Ancient City is the ancient city wall. This wall is about 15m high and 4m thick.
