Is Sony NEX-5R micro-sheet suitable for diving?

In terms of image quality, the bigger the sensor, the better the image quality. Generally speaking:

Quan Huafu > APS-H & gt;; APS-C & gt; APS-C (Canon) & gtFoveon & gt4:3 & gt;; 1 ' ' & gt; 2/3 ' ' & gt; 1/ 1.7 ' ' & gt; 1/2.3''

NEX-5R belongs to APS-C, and the sensor is quite large, with good image quality.

But it's not easy for a SLR (micro-single) to take good photos underwater:

A camera with a certain volume, after adding a waterproof shell, is still quite large. If you are a novice diver, it will be quite difficult to operate underwater. In particular, the neutral buoyancy is not good, and all the shots are waste films.

The waterproof case for SLR (micro-single) is quite expensive. The interchangeable lens waterproof case (simple waterproof case only supports standard mirror) is expensive, but the general standard mirror is enough.

Due to the lack of red light underwater, the color of SLR (micro-single) photographed underwater is not gorgeous, so it is necessary to install fill light or flash. Besides, fill lights and flashlights are also expensive.

NEX-5R is an advanced camera. Whether it is suitable or not depends on your diving skills and available budget. The Sony a6000 I used still works well.
