Configuration table for installing photographic computer

Hello, I'm a photographer. General computer configuration post-production, generally using LR PS. I hope my experience can help you.

The configuration of the computer first depends on your camera configuration (pixel size). I use a Nikon D8 10 camera with 36 million pixels. If your pixels are slightly lower, such as 2000-2400W, your configuration can be slightly lower, if it is 5DS with higher pixels.

Or A7RII, you need a better configuration.

The recommended configuration is as follows:

CPU: I7 6700

Motherboard: Gigabyte G 1B7 (150 chipset)

Memory: 8X2DDR 4 memory, Kingston hacker is recommended.

Hard disk: Sandisk SSD 128G or 256G, plus 2T mechanical hard disk.

There is no graphics card, because from the perspective of photo processing, PS LR, including AI and other software, does not need graphics card to work at all.

If you want to play some big games at other times, you can consider installing a graphics card.

Power supply (without graphics card): Haiyun G450

The chassis is optional.

My configuration is a set of 4-generation I7 4790k, which is similar to the above performance. When using PS processing, it can basically run smoothly, and some complex light and shadow effects can be rendered quickly.

The most important thing in the later period is actually the screen. If the budget is low, the CPU above can be downgraded to I5.

But the screen must be good, otherwise it will be useless.

At least a DELL 24 14H with factory color correction.

Apple's 2K screen or Dell's 2K screen recommend high-resolution photo processing.

I hope I can help you. You can ask if you need anything.
