The portfolio does not need to be concentrated in a certain major, but can also take any form, including painting, oil painting, sketch, ceramics and so on. In addition, students must submit 3-5 still life sketches, and the observed cases can include landscapes, still life sketches, self-portraits, portraits of people and indoor spaces.

All works need to be uploaded through Pratt's SlideRoom (the deadline is to submit the portfolio two weeks ago).

Photography major: Applicants need to submit 12-20 photos or the above visual portfolio. Applicants for photography are not required to submit 3-5 still life sketches, but the college encourages them to submit them.

Demonstrate the process and implementation of a project, preferably including problem solving and research methods. Please attach all examples that show that you are a creative person. This course is highly integrated with students from different backgrounds, so in the writing instructions, you can discuss the contribution your personal role and background can bring and how to benefit from the diversified learning environment. TOEFL requires 90 points.

Interior design major

Undergraduate students majoring in interior design or architecture are eligible to take a two-year professional course with 60 credits. The portfolio needs to be submitted through SlideRoom, and you need to prove your previous professional training experience, sensibility and skills.

For students who have no undergraduate study foundation in interior design or architecture, they need to take two semesters of qualification examination courses (24 credits). These students will complete 80-credit courses in three years. These applicants do not need to submit portfolios, but we encourage you to submit portfolios of pure art, fashion design, industrial design, graphic design and other related majors.
