Nomination list for the 30th Hong Kong Golden Elephant Awards

The 30th Hong Kong Film Awards announced the nominations, and the previous award winner Nick Cheung announced the nomination list. Five films including "Detective Dee: The Legend of Heaven", "Sword Rain" and "Ip Man 2: The Grandmaster" are competing for the Best Picture Award. Among all nominations, "Detective Detective Detective" led the way with 13 nominations, followed by "Sword Rain" with 11 nominations, "Ip Man 2" and "The Informer" received 10 and 8 nominations respectively. Chow Yun-fat, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Nick Cheung, Jacky Cheung, and Nicholas Tse were nominated for best actor, while Tang Wei, Miriam Yeung, Sit Kai-chi, Carina Lau, and Josie Ho were nominated for best actress.
