Van Gogh's masterpiece

Van Gogh is a post-impressionist painter in Holland. Representative works include Starry Night, Sunflower, Crow in the Rye, Eighteen Beats by Hu Jia, Cafe arles, etc.

Van Gogh created a large number of excellent works of art in his life, and his unique views and personalized style in painting and color application had a far-reaching impact on the art world of later generations. However, in his short and unfortunate life, he rarely got real success and recognition, and it was not until his death that he was gradually discovered and cherished by people. In his creation, Van Gogh often depicts natural scenery and characters with intense brushwork, and reflects his inner feelings and emotional experiences with bright and expressive colors.

Deeply influenced by Japanese prints and Indian paintings, he further developed the theory and practice of post-impressionism. However, due to mental health problems and social difficulties, Van Gogh's life was full of hardships and struggles, and finally 1890 committed suicide. Nevertheless, his contribution and influence to modern art and the touching story of his personal experience are still concerned and recalled by many people.
