How to shoot a snow portrait

Snow portraits should pay special attention to three points:

Exposure, white balance, composition.

First, exposure

After measuring the main body, it should be noted that the snow scene of the picture is white at this time, and the measurement results will be biased. According to the reflectivity principle of 18% neutral ash, it is necessary to adjust the exposure compensation at this time, and generally increase the exposure of 1~2 levels. This snow scene will not be gray and black, and it can appear normal white.

Second, white balance.

White balance is to keep the color of the picture normal and keep the balance of white.

In order to restore the normal color, it is suggested to manually adjust the color temperature k value. At the same time, when you want to add a little warmth to the snow scene, you can appropriately increase the normal k value 1000 or so; If you want to make the snow scene more cool, you can lower the value of K by about 1000, depending on your personal preference.

Third, composition

The first two points are to make our shooting light and color normal, which is the most basic part.

Composition, whether shooting portraits or other photography categories, is a very important factor.

1, people fill the picture, smile at the camera, or cover their mouths with their hands, which needs to be natural.

2, splashing water into ice shooting, increasing interest.

3, the composition of the three equal parts, the extension line of the eye line of sight is left blank.

4, interaction in the snow, snowball fights.

5. Bend down to hold the snow and feel the winter.

6, with the help of ancient buildings and costumes, return to the romantic feelings of ancient snow appreciation.
