The Historical Background of Xiahe Township in Yunxiao County

Xiahe Township belongs to Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. 1957 established Xiahe District, 1958 separated Xiahe and Cheshan Commune, 1966 merged Xiahe Commune, 1984 changed the township.

In the thirty-third year of Qin Shihuang (2 14 BC), Xiao Yun belonged to Nanhai County. In the 12th year of Emperor Gaozu (195), it belonged to the South China Sea. During the reign of Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty (179- 164), there was a rebellion in the South China Sea. After the pacification, it was placed in Jieyang County, South Vietnam. Plans 4 and 5 were located in Fumintang, Xiao Yun, and in Tongzhi, so they were also called Zhangzhou Branch Office. In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Fumintang in Xiao Yun was changed to Yunxiao County, which belonged to Zhangzhou Prefecture and transferred to Fujian West Road. In 3 years, it was changed to Zhang Ting Road. 14 years, Taoism was abandoned and transferred to the provincial capital. In 22 years, when the Fujian Incident happened, it was transferred to Long Ting Province. In 23 years of the Republic of China, after the failure of the "Fujian Incident", it was placed under the sixth administrative supervision area of Fujian Province, and changed to the fifth supervision area in 24 years of the Republic of China. In 1933, the Office of the Ombudsman moved to Xiao Yun. When People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded, Yunxiao County was placed under the sixth administrative region of Fujian Province, 1950 belonged to Longxi District, 1955 belonged to Longxi District, 1978 belonged to Longxi District, and 1985 belonged to Zhangzhou City.
