How to evaluate Man Chen's photographic works?

What Man Chen's work really looks like depends on who she is shooting for.

Figure 1 and Figure 2 are the female images of China that she shot for westerners, with small squints, dark or blushing cheeks and grotesque hairstyles.

Figures 3 to 5 show the stars she shot for China people. Male stars are handsome, female stars are beautiful, dressed appropriately and full of sunshine.

In other words, Man Chen knows what beauty is, and there is no problem with aesthetics, only for whom and for whom.

Her job is uncomfortable.

In her latest work Audi and Art, her face is black, her eyes are black and her eye shadow is heavy. This is the female image of China in her eyes.

This is entirely because she caters to the stereotype of oriental women in the west and is suspected of deliberately uglifying them.

Our aesthetic standards in China cannot deviate from those in the West.

An underlying logic engraved in the bones of western luxury culture is the extremely inclusive and aggressive racism in white supremacy.

This is why they will be abandoned and spurned by a new generation of China people.

Wearing these white luxuries to give yourself a long face is actually scratching your face while paying IQ tax.

In the future, these expensive labels will identify this small group of China people: low IQ+illiteracy+low self-esteem.
