I want to typeset my photographic works with PS and print them on coated paper. Is the resolution 300 or 72?

To print, the resolution should be 300dpi.

But the size is not up to you. You should keep the original length, width and pixel value.

For example, the original pixel value is 5760x3840 and the resolution is 72.

After adjusting the resolution to 300, make sure to adjust the pixel value back to 5760x3840.

Keep this pixel value. As for the output size, PS will automatically adjust the corresponding size at last.

For example, 5760x3840 pixels, the size at 300 resolution is 48.77 x 32.55438+0 cm.

The size of the output picture, the pixel value can only be less than or equal to the original pixel value, not greater than.

In other words, when the picture is output, it can only be reduced on the basis of the original size, and cannot be enlarged.

Shrinking does not affect the clarity of the picture. If you zoom in, the picture is not clear enough.

For example, a picture with 5760x3840 pixels can be reduced to A4 paper size (29.7x2 1 cm).

But for a picture with 800x600 pixels, you can't enlarge it to A4 paper size. ...
